This 19th century Victorian Pine Antique Painted Bedding Box / Chest dates from ca. 1880 and is the ideal size for use as a coffee table. It is in the original paint finish so comes with wonderful charm and character. This beautiful antique chest has a moulded lid, carrying handles on the sides and the interior has a secret compartment with a concealed drawer. It is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of beeswax finishing.
